Apollo

Apollo combined high drive and a very clear head and was easy to train. In protection work, he took control of the helper with his crushing grip and excellent fight drive and aggression. Apollo was a serious dog on the field and protective at home. Off the field, Apollo had an excellent temperament and was social with both people and dogs. In the Summer of 2015, Apollo travelled back to the UK to retire with Lou's parents. He spent 6 years having a wonderful time and lots of walks until he passed away at 14.5 years old.

Apollo's mother was our own Gana who was handler-owner-trained by us from a puppy to SchH3 IPO3 FH CD AD TC CGC. Gana was from one of the best German Working Line Kennels, she was line-bred 5-5 Afra vom Stoppenberger Land, with excellent producing Karthago females on her mother's side, and also Mink and Arthus Lunsholz. Gana's father Orry, competed at the BSP and his mother, Wespe is one of the famous 'W' litter Wannaer Höhen.

Apollo's father was our own Bodeus who was also handler-owner-trained by us from a puppy to SchH3 IPO3 VPG3 FH AD UD NA TC CGC WUSV. Bodeus was line-bred on Arec Bunsenkocher and the G litter vom Körbelbach (Gildo - Gaby) his pedigree contained other notable WUSV participants Link vom Muikenshof and Wumm von der Kaisersaule as well as herding lines known for their intelligence and biddability.
